A Magical World of Manifestation!

Who or what will you be?

Welcome to the magical world of manifestations - storms; falling in love in the blink of an eye and crafting a little justice.

Yes, you have the chance to improv a tempest, or moreover Shakespeare’s THE TEMPEST. Lots of different roles to play, act and share, including individual characters, objects, places and events, noises and even monsters! If you prefer, you can just watch the tale unfold and provide the much needed and appreciated boos, hisses and hoorahs!

If you join in you will get the chance to mix up the tale with your own magical and creative take on the play, all skilfully orchestrated by theatre specialists Maggie Irving and Claire Hadfield.

On Friday 19 July, we are in the Exmouth’s Manor Gardens, where the King of Naples Alonso’s pre-wedding party ship sets sails. All aboard! This inclusive event is free and is one of the many innovative, inclusive and interactive entertaining events at the 2024 Exmouth Festival.

Again, it’s free!

To round up, I absolutely loved our stand-up comedy Mash-Up night at Exmouth’s Sundowner’s last Thursday.  Over a £100 raised for the charity Transition Exmouth. Such a fab mix of comedians - all people who have studied with me at some point on their journey into the stand-up comedy scene. Some super saucy songs from Holly Rawlings and Dee Dee Coté. One comedian was delivering her first ever public set – and wow, she kept us amused with humorous stories about her passion for cheese. Brilliant! Even more cheese next timeplease.

If you couldn’t make our last Mash-Up, we invite you to join us for our next comedy night at the City Gate Hotel Exeter. Thursday 25 July 8pm. If you want to generate a new joke or just dip your nib into the comedy writing world, sign up for the pre-gig workshop 6 - 7.30pm. It includes free entry to watch the gig.

Crafting comedy isn’t as hard as you might think. It’s true! Please come and try your hand – I will help you build the necessary writing and performance skills to create a five-minute set. Get in touch or check out all booking links below. See you soon.

As usual, a huge thanks for your support from Maggie and the team :)

Look out for our next Exeter Comedy Mash-Up and workshop at The City Gate Hotel, Thursday 25 July. Or if you prefer a pre-gig workshop, take a peek at this snappy 1.5 hour stand-up comedy class, to help you tighten your set, or start a new one! Same date, 6 - 7.30pm.
